III Programme for Women Counsellors organised by AED

Today, more than ever, the role of the Board of Directors is key in promoting a sustainable corporate culture, which, in addition to being committed to talent, promotes diversity.
The main commitment of the Esade Programme for Female Directors is to professionalise and facilitate the work of current and future female directors by addressing relevant issues in the sphere of Boards of Directors.
Promoting the number of female directors on the Boards of Directors of Basque companies will add value to Basque society as a whole.

Objectives of the programme

• To provide female board members with a global vision of good corporate governance, as well as an up-to-date knowledge of the
  updated knowledge on the subject of Boards of Directors.
• To provide participants with instruments and criteria that will enable them to develop their potential as directors and to
  as female directors and to adequately exercise their responsibilities.
• To strengthen competencies and skills that enable female directors to perform their duties with greater confidence, as well as to progress and gain access to the Boards to which they can contribute the most.
