Innovation that connects people and ideas: the winner of the ‘Challenge for Parke’

The ‘Open Innovation Platform for Collaborative Projects (PIA)’ initiative, presented by A.Z.E. from the company i+Med, was the winning proposal in the ‘A challenge for Parke’ competition.
This initiative focuses on the development of a collaborative digital platform aimed at strengthening the connection between companies, universities and research centres. The aim is to foster shared innovation through a common space where synergies can be generated, knowledge can be exchanged and technological solutions can be co-created. This tool will enable the activation of new collaboration opportunities, promote strategic projects and strengthen the competitive positioning of the ecosystem.
Among the 80 ideas received to improve life on our campuses, this was the most highly valued for its potential to transform the way we relate and collaborate within the Parke ecosystem.
PIA proposes a new model of open innovation that facilitates the connection between agents, drives synergies and promotes a collaborative culture, aligned with Parke’s strategic challenges for the coming years.
A proposal with real impact
‘A challenge for Parke’ is an open innovation programme that started 10 years ago, in 2015. It is aimed at people working in any of the companies located on our campuses and aims to collect ideas aimed at creating more innovative, sustainable and friendly environments.
What does the prize consist of? A travel bag for the person who came up with the idea and, in addition, the company to which the idea belongs will be able to enjoy a day in one of our KreaGune creativity rooms, spaces designed to give shape to new ideas in a dynamic, welcoming and resourceful environment.
Throughout the different editions, this challenge has promoted initiatives that today form part of the day-to-day life of the Parke ecosystem. This is the case of the KreaGune hall itself, a space born from a winning idea; the Parkea Musik Fest, a cultural event that brings together the Parke community around music; or the gym on the Vitoria-Gasteiz Campus, designed to promote healthy habits among the people who work in the environment. All of them are examples of the real impact that these ideas can have on the life of the Technology Park.
We at the Basque Country Technology Park would like to thank all the people who took part in this edition. Their talent, effort and involvement are the best reflection of the innovative spirit that we share at Parke.
Eskerrik asko for being part of the change. We continue to build the Parke of the future!
