ITP Aero obtains the “Gold Medal” in the EcoVadis 2023 sustainability qualification

This rating places ITP Aero in the top 5% of companies rated by EcoVadis

ITP Aero has obtained the “Gold Medal” in the EcoVadis Sustainability Rating 2023, which places it in the top 5% of the companies best rated by EcoVadis. EcoVadis is the most reliable corporate sustainability rating in the world and has become the standard tool for companies in the aerospace sector, as recommended by IAEG (International Aerospace Environment Group).

ITP Aero started its sustainability assessment with EcoVadis in 2022 with the objective of achieving external validation of ITP Aero’s ESG strengths and areas for improvement. EcoVadis is a recognised sustainability rating covering all industries in four key pillars: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Sustainable Procurement and Ethics and Information Security. ITP Aero has achieved an overall score of 71 out of 100, including 80 out of 100 in the Environment and Ethics and Information Security pillars.

This milestone comes at a time of growth for ITP Aero, as an independent company, since Bain Capital assumed ownership of ITP Aero in September 2022. Furthermore, this sustainability gold medal is in line with ITP Aero’s strategic goal to become a world-class ESG company, and ITP Aero’s commitment to become net zero carbon emissions by 2050, in line with the Science Based Targets (SBTi) initiative.
