BeParke, Bizkaia, News

The first Parkea Musik Fest will be held at the Zamudio/Derio Campus on 23 May. From 17.00 onwards, three groups will be in charge of setting the atmosphere for the event at the Baserri Antzokia in Derio.

The initiative promoted by the Technology Parks of the Basque Country seeks to showcase the musical and creative talent of the employees of the companies on the different campuses. This initiative is part of the different activities that can be enjoyed at the 6 active campuses of the Basque Country Technology Park through BeParke Kluba.

At 17.00 the first group will start, at least one member of each band will be an employee of a company located on the campuses, and each band will play for approximately half an hour, but music will not be the only thing that can be enjoyed; there will be raffles, the option to buy pintxos and drinks, exclusive discounts for festivals, and 150 free drinks. It should be noted that admission is open to all those interested, whether or not they are employees of Parke companies.

The musical groups

Blaster M, La Fabulosa y Decadente Mambo Express and Soporte Vital Básico will take centre stage in the afternoon.

Blaster M is made up of people who work at Ingeteam, a company dedicated to electrical engineering, and they stand out for their rock and roll in Basque. After them, it will be the turn of Soporte Vital Básico, made up of staff from Tecnalia, a research centre applied to technological development, who will set the mood for the afternoon with a great selection of pop music. Finally, we will enjoy the performance of La Fabulosa and Decadente Mambo Express, who come from the company Ayesa, a global provider of technological and engineering services, and will bring us closer to the sounds of cumbia.

Parkea Musik Fest not only seeks to highlight the talent of those who make up Parke, but also to transform the working environment into a space for leisure, wellbeing and free time.

The Zamudio/Derio Campus is the first date, but the festival will be followed by the Vitoria-Gasteiz Campus on 13 June and the Donostia Campus of the Basque Country Technology Park on 19 September.
