Strategic agreement between Aernnova and Honda for new New Light Jet programme

Aernnova, a leading aerospace company specialising in the design, manufacture, maintenance and services of aeronautical structures and components, has been selected to design the wing; design and manufacture the flaps, ailerons and spoilers; and manufacture the empennage for Honda Aircraft’s new light jet.

Honda Aircraft Company announced yesterday that the HondaJet 2600 Concept will be commercialised. The new light aircraft, which represents a new product line for Honda Aircraft Company, is targeted for certification in 2028.

“The commercialisation of the new HondaJet 2600 light aircraft represents Honda’s next chapter in air mobility, which will further expand the potential of people’s lives,” said Hideto Yamasaki, president and CEO of Honda Aircraft Company. “By deepening our technological innovations, we will accelerate the development of the programme, with sustainability efforts being a key element.
