Technological summer camps in Bizkaia Science and Technology Park
• The initiative is for young people aged 8 to 14
• The objective is to bring them to areas such as Robotics and boost technological vocations.
• The deadline for registration on May 31; the camps last between one and two weeks.
This year will be held the II technology summer camps in BTEK, the Technology Interpretation Centrein of the Bizkaia Science and Technology Park. Aimed at young people aged between 8 and 14 years, they will have place for the second consecutive year at this Centre, given the success in its first edition. The objective of these summer camps is that young people be familiar with Robotics and technology, in a fun way, and to stimulate technological vocations.
Technological camps begin June 25 and will be finalized July 27, with a duration of 1 to 2 weeks and in schedule from 9,00am to 15 pm. During the workshops, participants will learn to build robots and program them.
The initiative, organized by the Strelia company, counts on the participation of the University of Deusto, in addition to BTEK and Bizkaia Science and Technology Park, and with the collaboration of Tecnalia, Innobasque, Novia Salcedo Foundation and Vodafone.
