Ayesa diversifies in Poland with the supervision of the building of the future Chopin music centre

The company has chosen the country to implement its Building and Cities business line, after consolidating its position as one of the leading engineering companies in railway and road projects.

The building, located in Zelazowa Wola, the composer’s hometown, aims to become a first-class international music venue. It has a budget of 139 million euros.

Ayesa, a global provider of engineering and technology services, is growing and diversifying its activity in Poland. The company has just won the supervision of the International Chopin Music Centre in Zelawona Wola, the birthplace of the famous composer.

This future building, promoted by The Fryderyk Chopin Institute, aims to become a first-class music and cultural events venue. Its construction will require a budget of 400 million zlotys (about 139 million euros).

The building will have four floors above ground and one underground. It will include a large concert hall, a main entrance foyer, chamber, educational and conference halls, catering facilities and office space. It has been designed with courtyards to illuminate the interiors.

The centre will facilitate the promotion of the artistic and educational activities of the Fryderyk Chopin National Institute, including the organisation of concerts and festivals.

Under this contract, Ayesa will supervise its construction, which also includes electrical installations, and the technology required for the performances. The execution period is 108 months.

Ayesa was permanently established in Poland in 2009 and since then the multinational has participated in the supervision and management of more than a hundred road, railway and renewable energy infrastructures.

Among its most recent projects is the supervision of the design and construction of a section of the new high-speed railway line that will reach the future CPK (Central Communications Port) airport in Poland, the largest project in Europe with a budget of 30,000 million euros. He is also supervising the construction of the new cargo terminal at John Paul II International Airport in Krakow-Balice, as well as several large photovoltaic plants for major clients such as EDP Renovables.
