Bizkaia, News

From 16 to 18 May, a new edition of the most important event in the field of innovation aimed at the food and beverage industry worldwide will be held

Euskadi Technology Parks, once again this year, supports this event as a supporting partner of the event

More than 250 exhibitor firms, the Food 4 Future World Summit, vertical forums and technology series sessions are just some of the ingredients that will be on show for three days at the BEC in what is already considered the world’s largest event in the FoodTech sector.

Food 4 Future has thus become the unmissable technological event at which to discover the latest innovations and solutions that are transforming the food sector, as well as success stories and applications of food technology to achieve a safer, more sustainable and healthier industry.

More than 250 exhibiting companies will present their latest technological solutions and food products that will help to modernise and digitise the entire value chain of the industry, from raw materials to logistics processes.

For 3 days, more than 450 international experts will participate in Food 4 Future to discuss and understand the challenges facing the food and beverage industry and all its segments.

Startup Forum

As part of the event, once again this year the Startup Forum will take place, a space that brings together the most innovative startups in the FoodTech field. After a selection of the applications submitted, Powerful Tree and Innomy, located on the Vitoria-Gasteiz and Zamudio/Derio Campuses of the Basque Technology Parks, have been selected and will have the opportunity to present their projects to business leaders in the sector, potential partners, investors and entrepreneurs with whom to share innovative solutions, establish synergies and develop the most disruptive projects applied to the FoodTech field.

Powerful Tree is a technology startup that develops agricultural facilities, while Innomy develops innovative food products based on mycelium. Both technology-based start-ups form part of the FoodTech ecosystem of the Basque Technology Parks, a booming ecosystem that continues to grow.

Cristina Andrés from Euskadi Technology Parks will also moderate two of the round tables that will take place during the three days of the event, which will bring together CEOs and heads of large and small international companies to discuss current issues such as personalised food and changes in consumer behaviour, or open innovation as a tool to accelerate innovation processes in organisations.

Finally, and as a supporting partner of this new edition of Food 4 Future 2023, the Basque Technology Parks offer you the opportunity to access all the spaces that will take place within the framework of the event free of charge.
