PARKEA MUSIK FEST FILLS THE ALAVA TECHNOLOGY PARK WITH MUSIC
For the first time in Alava, the Basque Technology Park Network is organising this initiative in which the participating artists are professionals from companies in the Basque Technology Park Network
Parkea Musik Fest came to the Alava Technology Park on 30 June. The music festival, born six years ago from the winning initiative of the competition launched annually by the Basque Technology Park Network: “A Challenge for the Park”, has returned for its fourth edition after the obligatory break due to the pandemic. The event took place in the afternoon, in the Central Building of the Alava Technology Park.
The festival, which was attended by around 200 people, began with a concert by Carlos Tego (indie-rock), followed by Blue Painters (rock), then it was the turn of El Cantar del MiuCIC (pop-rock), followed by Bilongo Latin Trio (latin), and ended with a DJ Session in the late afternoon. Carlos Tego works at KREAN, the members of Blue Painters are from TECNALIA, El cantar del MiuCIC is made up of CIC energiGUNE staff and Bilongo Latin Trio are artists who work at RETAbet.
Parkea Musik Fest will continue on 6 October, with the festival being held at the Bizkaia Science and Technology Park. The last event of this edition will take place on 13 October at the Science and Technology Park of Gipuzkoa.
