The ‘Euskal Emakumeak Teknologian’ exhibition arrives in Donostia to continue highlighting female talent in science and technology
After visiting the Abanto and Vitoria-Gasteiz Campuses, the travelling exhibition ‘Euskal Emakumeak Teknologian’ arrives in Donostia to continue highlighting the role of women in science and technology. It is an initiative promoted by Itelazpi, the Basque Government’s Telecommunications Company, in collaboration with the Basque Country Technology Park, whose aim is to raise awareness of the pioneering women, current and future leading professionals in the STEM field in the Basque Country. With its arrival at the Donostia Campus, the exhibition continues to expand its impact and demonstrates that the presence of women in the scientific and technical field is increasingly relevant.
Through the illustrations created by the artist David Fernández Rementería, the exhibition traces the history of three generations of women who have left their mark in different areas of science and technology: from the first female researchers, to the professionals who today lead innovative projects and the young women who are beginning to emerge in the sector.
Hundreds of students and professionals from different campuses have already visited the exhibition. If you haven’t visited it yet, we encourage you to discover it and share its message. Because giving visibility to women in science and technology is the first step towards building a more diverse, inclusive and innovative future.
