GES celebrates 25 years of ISO 9001 certification with 100% of its business certified
In 1997, GES certified its quality management system for the first time by obtaining the ISO 9001 and today, the certificate extends to 100% of its activities
On International Quality Day, GES celebrates the 25th anniversary of this certification by ratifying its commitment to quality and receives a certificate from Aenor for these 25 years of work
During these years, GES has built 14.8 GW and installed more than 28 GW in the international wind market and has built more than 1GW in the photovoltaic market
This year, GES, a comprehensive provider of solutions for renewable wind and photovoltaic projects, celebrates 25 years since it first certified its quality management system according to the international ISO 9001 standard. 25 years later, the company has 100% of its activities certified, which endorses its commitment to quality and guarantees a service with the best criteria and procedures in the market.
The GES Quality and Environment Director, Ana María Nieves, pointed out that ‘these 25 years of work are an endorsement of the service provided by GES in terms of our quality criteria. It is an additional value that ratifies us as a reliable partner in providing a service with the best criteria and procedures in the market.
The ISO 9001 quality certification is a benchmark for customers in the increasingly competitive renewables sector, especially in emerging markets, who want to adapt to quality standards and establishes a direct correlation between quality and the reliability associated with the service.
On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the accreditation, the director of AENOR in the Basque Country, Gonzalo San Antonio, presented the commemorative certificate, which was collected by Jose Luis García Donoso, CEO of Global Energy Services, GES, and Ana María Nieves.
GES is an international benchmark in the provision of services and solutions for renewable energy projects, where it has been present for more than 30 years. The company, which belongs to CL Industrial Group, has a staff of more than 700 professionals distributed all over the world, and has a stable presence through commercial offices and operational centres in Spain, Italy, Egypt, Mexico and Chile.
During more than 30 years of activity in renewable projects, GES has built 14.8 GW, installed more than 28 GW in the international wind power market, where it is a reference in engineering, construction and maintenance. Of these, in Spain it has built 7.6 GW, installed 14 GW and maintains 3.2 GW.
The company has 17 years’ experience in the photovoltaic sector and specialises in the construction of large-scale photovoltaic plants. During these years, the company has built more than 1 GW. In the last two years (2020 and 2021), contracts have exceeded 600 MW, confirming its commitment to solar technology.
