On 14, 15 and 16 October, Bilbao will host a new edition of QA&TEST Embedded, the international conference specialising in software testing and quality and embedded systems, which this year is also celebrating its 25th anniversary.
Organised by SQS QA&TEST, the event will bring together international professionals and experts at the Euskalduna Conference Centre to address some of the key challenges currently faced by technology and industrial companies in the development of increasingly complex systems.
Over three days, the programme will combine technical presentations, keynote speeches and practical tutorials covering areas such as test automation, artificial intelligence applied to quality, verification and validation, safety and security, regulation, and new methodologies and tools aimed at ensuring reliable and secure systems.
The conference is aimed particularly at professionals working in software, testing, quality assurance, engineering, R&D, embedded systems, verification and validation, and product development. Its topics are highly relevant to sectors including automotive and mobility, industry, energy, healthcare, railways, aerospace, defence and telecommunications, among many others.
25 years connecting knowledge and industry from the Basque Country
QA&TEST was founded in Bilbao 25 years ago with the aim of creating a specialised forum where professionals from different countries could share real-world experiences in quality assurance and testing.
The 2026 edition will be particularly significant as it marks the conference’s 25th anniversary, once again bringing together an international community of specialists in Bilbao. This year’s attendees include professionals from Spain, Germany, Lithuania, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Portugal and Japan, among other countries, reflecting the international character that QA&TEST has consolidated over the past quarter of a century.
Since then, the conference has evolved alongside technology and industry while maintaining a strongly practical philosophy: sharing knowledge, learning from real experiences, and fostering connections between professionals and organisations facing similar challenges.
